s-10 frame question....

if all of the body parts are removed from an older s-10 (from the 80's), would i be left with a "flat" frame with an engine and suspension that i can use to fabricate my own kit onto? also, does anyone have any pictures of a completely stripped s-10 so i can see? if so, please include what year it is. thanks
