I have an 84 Blazer S10. The other day it started blowing fuses everytime I turned on my heater? Any suggestions to check as to why it all of a sudden started to do this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello,
Do you loose the blower also or is it on a separate fuse? The problem could be caused by a couple of things. I have a 91 that does the same thing every spring. First off, do you have A/C? If so unplug the compressor and see if the fuse still blows. If it doesn't blow, check to see that your electrical connection on the compressor is good and clean. Mine gets corroded and it will pop the fuse everytime. Next, check the blower coils. They are mounted in the cooling box (if you have A/C) next to the blower. If they get corroded, they will force the blower to draw more current than the fuse can handle. Next, check the blower by unpluging it and seeing if the fuse blows again.
