Today I get the pleasure of doing another tune up on the grand am. Its been 15,000 miles since my last one and 2 plugs are so cooked that the diodes are even burned away. I guess the engines been running too hot for conventional platinum plugs so Im gonna try iridium and blue streaks oem standard plus wires that claim higher protection as well as better isolation from arching. Since my engine likes to use gas additives (fog in the ol air intake) its been eating spark plugs 10 times faster. Will the iridium's help when i use a fogger? Normally i use the oem plugs, wires, pcv and fuel filter. I got the 3400 v6 if that helps.
