How to program an OEM remote

I am looking for information on how to program an OEM remote for my 97 Maxima GXE. I have 1 remote that I saw a dealer program my car (he did something while in the car) to an OEM remote that did not come with the car, so I know it’s possible. I saw some remotes on eBay that I thought about picking up.
