Building ROCKET eclipse

Ok, i have this idea for when i get my eclipse. im gonna add some engine mods like a new intake and exaust, maybe add a turbo. And im also gonna purchase some high power model jet engines for use in remote controlled model jets (these things fly at about 500 mph, and they're usually around 40 pounds +). So my idea is to get at least 2 of these engines, and mount the somewhere near my exaust down bellow on the rear, then of course have them remotely started and controlled from up front. Think of how much fucking boost these things would give your car! Obviously this has never been attempted, so I may be the first! tell me wut u think of this idea.

I really do not think it is a viable idea. The RC plane the rocket engines go on weighs 40. Strapping them to a 3000lb car will do nothing but provide a cool (and illegal) light show.

They did that on MYTH BUSTERS. They strapped three M engines(the size might be wrong) on top of a car and fired them in sequence. The car pulled away from a helicoptor. These rocket motors require a special license to even use them. It will work, but I dont think that it would be a good idea. It would be cool to be blown away by a rocket powered car though. Screw NOS go rocket. hahaha
