What is this thing and is it important. I want to either remove or move it to a new place and if i need to move it, how woud that work? I'm putting in a custom CAI and using the hole for the canister as the outlet to the cold air. Has anyone seen this done before?

Just make sure it is not enclosed. It recovers fuel vapor after the engine is shut off and lets the engine burn these vapors when it is restarted.

public- whats he talking about? I pondered the possibility in my park avenue, I think it can be done with few mods in the park.

so...if thats all this thing does, Do I really need it? Can I just vent the vapors into the air or even into the intake tube?

Ive been looking at places to see how to relocate this part and it looks like ill be needing more fuel line, more wire. I am thinking of mounting it above the transmission part and creating a heat shield below it. I'll try to draw a pic to explain it.
