I have a 85 K5 Blazer that I have been trying to get running again. I bought the vehicle from a guy who seemed to forget we had smog in California. I have found how ALL of the vaccuum lines go, but can't seem to find a correct and comeplete wiring diagram. After putting all the wires that i can identify where I know they go I am still left with 3. :banghead: I assume 2 are for the A/C but not quite sure which ones. If anyone has any useful diagrams I would really appreciate the help.

If you don't get a lead on a diagram, post the wire colors and I'll run them through my old brain.

Do you have access to a manual or something. I have a Chilton's and would be glad to send you a diagram if you can tell me where to send it and what diagrams you need.

I have a Chilton's and a Haynes and the old style manual from the 80's. None of the have an exact diagram of which plug goes where. There are three male plugs that have two cylinder shaped contacts. One is blue, one is clear, and the other is red. There is also a small black plug that looks like the plug in on a nintendo controller. I know the black plug gooes to the fron of the carb, and there is a blue plug on the top that the others could fit into except they are too long. I have even gone to the dealership, and they try to tell me they can't reproduce the under hood sticker.

I just have a diagram from a recent Chiltons. The diagrams are pretty good. If it is the carberator area I can scan it and send it.

Okay I have had it with this truck. I have hooked up everything that is indated on the wiring dagram and I still have extra plugs and my check engine light is still on. Will the A/C not being plugged in (mine has been removed) keep the light from going off?

It should because my Air Conditioner isn't hooked up. And the check engine light isn't on.

I finally found all of the connections both electrical and vacuum. I just happened to find the same truck complete at Pick 'n' Pull. Imaginge the luck of that. Thanks for everyone's help! One with the next project: the suspension!

I found the plug and the sensors. After several months of searching I finally came across the bracket with all three sensors. They were the MAP sensor, the ignition module, and the sensor for the smog pump. And to think the dealerships couldn't even help me. Thank you to all those that tried to help. If you are unable to find your answers here I found alot of help at bowtieguys 73-87 chevy truck stop. Good luck to all !
