Ok, My 94 Sentra XE seems to be having a few leaks. Im just wondering if maybe anyone may be (have already) had the same problems and maybe this just happens.
1. Power Steering Fluid Leaks out ALOT, im thinking its just a hose i gotta replace.
2.I noticed some Oil (very very little) is starting to show up now, i have no clue where it is coming from.
Im seriously thinking about getting a new engine very soon, for the first thing to replace. The engine has 145,00 on it, and im not sure how far this can go. If anyone can just help me a bit, thanx

okay for the power steering fluid, it will cost u ALOT because any piece dealing with the power steering pump and stuff is alot, except for the hose. for the oil, make sure the screw at the bottom is tightened because it can usually wiggle its way of u have a sound system or something.
i would recommend taking it to a mechanic with a free inspection... like meineke

Check the power steering rack and all the hoses between the fluid reservoir and the rack and tighten all the clamps. As for the oil leak, buy a cheap spray can of engine degreaser, spray it all over your motor(while it is cold) then hose it off. Next time you notice the oil leak, it will be more obvious where the leak is. I would recommend the rocker cover gasket as the main culprit. About $20 for a gasket and an hour of your time... or your mechanics...

The power steering hose is $70 for the ga16de and $100+ for the 2.0. The only place I found one was Nissan. The motor can go way beyond 145,000 if the car was well cared for. Mine reads 246,000 and still runs fine. The reason I'm looking for a new engine, my tranny went out and I want the SR20DE and 5spd for racing.
