This is rediculous

This is to every mod in the camaro forum. you all answer to SOMEBODY, i believe his name is Igor, i want to know how to contact him, this is out of control, ive been here for months, and seen none of these mods save for Vetteman, and suddenly its being forced on us to be G rated, behave ourselves, and those who do not strictly obey, are banned repeatedly??? and now EVERY random off topic thread, posted for the soul purpose of giving the other guys a laugh, gets locked or deleted? you have to understand that thats the kinda guys we are. this is not the forum i joined, this is turning into a forum i do not want to be in. I work as a mechanic all day long, i get on here because i like the people, i like the conversation, if this becomes a stricktly technical forum, i do that all day, i dont want anymore. i dont think the import mods understand that in a camaro forum, its very chill, its like sitting around with a bunch of other rednecks (admit it guys, camaro guys are rednecks) ;) drinkin some beers, talking about cars, dreamin bout women. it is mostly about cars, almost 98 or 99% about cars. but every once in a while we cut up a bit, get a laugh, look at somethin pretty. i guess i must be pushing the limits at some point here, but honestly. there was no conflict here, nothing to "take care of" or moderate, or that might even SLIGHTLY lead to anything bad. but yet suddenly we are cracked down on by mods that weve never seen before. the way i see it, we were all perfectly happy here, we all get along, aside from the occasional troll, we joke, we advize, wel help each other out. and it works.

If you dont like it in the camaro forum. which i feircly see as OUR forum, as we actually own, talk, live, breath, and dream camaros, then get out. and you wont have to worry about it. we like it here, we like it the way it is, and has been. we dont spread it to other forums, we keep to ourselves. i respect the mods, they do a great job of keeping trolls, small minded people, trouble makers, time waisters, and other such people out of the forum, and that is the primary reason the forum is such a great place to be. the Mods are to be credited for the most part for why the camaro forum is inhabited by such high quality people as we are lucky to have here, but, you are ALL overstepping your bounds in this particular case, and i want to talk to IGOR about it. i think its safe to say the majority of this forum agrees with me.

And Im glad you think of it as your forum, but try and think of it as more of a lease than actual ownership.
This isnt a forum on its own, just for camaros, its 1/1000th of a much much larger comunity that is aimed at all Automotive enthusiasts, and as such it has to follow the same strict set of guidelines.
AF has over a 1,000 subforums (you can try counting them if your don't believe me) and its primary focus is towards a love of all things automotive.
If you want a forum where you only talk about camaros, and you can act like cavemen and grunt at pics of semi naked women then go and start your own one somewhere. Theres nothing stopping you, and you can even have a link to it in the website dissucssions forum here.



Just becuase you can't post pics of chicks in bikinis dosnt mean you can't continue to be the great bunch of guys you are, helping each other and new members and having the odd joke.
If however you feel that you can't express your "culture" with out having pics of chicks then you need to reasses your ideals and morals. The 80s ended 14 years ago, get over it.
We now respect women, and AF has a very large female membership base because of that.

If you want to look at pics of attractive women then do it somewhere else, there is no rational or logical reason why you should need to do it here.



As for this being out of control, last time I looked it was only 1 or 2 of you who were starting threads and making an issue out of it.
Not one single mod has done anything to provoke you guys, we have simply enforced some very simple and clearly defined rules that have been around longer than any of you have been members.
