98 cad deville

could anyone tell me what the normal engine temp should be and how high it may possibly go before it shuts down.thanks

on my car it never gets over 202 degrees
usually 198

My 1997 deville get up to 222 thats about the highest, the dealership said thats normal. But it goes down to 197.

Is that temperature in highway or city driving conditions. Does it remain the same with the airconditioning running?

highest in the summer my ot to 225 now it runs no hotter than 202 highway/ town dont matter
