53k miles, automatic trans
Got the emissions checked and the car passed. After the test later that night the CEL came on. I took it to Advanced Auto and they read the code:
P1750 - Solenoid Assembly?????
The scantool said it was "manufacturer transmission"???
They erased the codes seems to be fine. But I wonder what can be done to fix the problem if there is one.

Only worry about anything if the light comes back on.

95eclipse-gsx told me to post this.. he can't post for some reason.
He got this code a few weeks before his tranny blew.
So I guess get the tranny checked out.

hey i got the same code in my turbo eclipse gsx which is also an automatic... my mechanic said it was something to do with the transmission... but since i dint have enough money i ignored it.. within few weeks the car started bumping whenever i change the gears from D to N or to R.... and after a few days it blew up the reverse gear.. and now i have to replace the whole tranny.. :( so u better check it out...

Hey scottsee I understand your comment from reading all of your responses in other posts.
This is an open forum that allows owners to help each other out. My Haines book defined what the code was. I was just wanting to get some helpful information from others that may have experienced this themselves. Before running to a shop and paying $$.
The car runs fine and now it threw a different code "fuel trim malfuntion (bank 1)" I think it might be my exhaust throwing false codes. It's supposedly stock and sounds like it's going bad. It's pretty loud and it just got louder the other day like a leak or something.
Againg thanks for the helpul responses.

no need to get sour. if you call up the service department, im sure they would be more then happy to tell you (for free) what that code is, and what the most likley situation is for throwing your code. your more than welcome to ask questions about what the code is, what it might be doing, im just giving you alternitive ideas for a solution to your problem

Sorry man was just in a bad mood. A guy on clubgp.com was starting flame wars over nothing. Still had his attitude on my mind when I read your post. Too easy to get upset and upset others by writing.
Found out that my flex pipe is totally cracked off from the downpipe. Hopefully it won't be too much to fix. Explains why it was very loud and smelled like exhaust when idling at a light. At least I know what's wrong now.
