A CAI from Injen or AEM come with a MAF adapter so you do not have to worry about that. Do not buy a generic one off ebay, as it most likely will not come with a MAF and may break.
AEM has the option of an air Bypass valve, bt truthfully, unless you drive behind tractor trailers in the rain or like to go deep water fording, you do not need it. Injen does not come with a bypass valve, but you can use the AEM bypass valve on the Injen R/D CAI. You will just have to move the horn forward a few inches.

A point well worth taken, avoid the imitated CAI from Ebay. Lesson learned here, broke after 3 months use. Now happily pimping the AEM CAI. The saying goes, you get what you pay for.
The BPV is a backup incase the lower filter portion gets submerged in water, the CAI can revert to the BPV (ByPass Valve) to get air. But as said above, not needed unless found under the circumstances given.

I bought a Injen CIA for my 2003 Eclipse GS. Learned my lesson when i bought a cheap one off of ebay. Once I put the cheap one on, later on my service engine light came on.
I would go with the Injen CAI. They dont make a air bypass valve for the injen but they do have the heat/splash shields that cover the filter. Go to www.ptuning.com and you'll find what you need there!
