Hooker headers on '94 Z28... questions...yeah, more from me

I want to put Hooker long tube headers on my '94 Z28. Will I have to lift the engine up to put them in? Also, what kinda horse power upgrade can I expect? Has anyone done this upgrade and then dynoed?

it would seem to me that it may actually be easier to lift the engine to install the headers. i just can't see longtube headers going into a 4th gen engine bay easy, maybe shorties. one thing my dad told me he said to keep me from ever being dissappointed, he said "headers NEVER fit" you always have to fabricate something, or cut something so be ready to do that. hp gains with longtubes... well a regular small block i have seen 40 hp gains, not sure how a lt1 will take it.
