But another thing i think 20' would be too big on your max. You should get like 18 or 17 cause it would much better. My friend has the same wheels on his truck and they are 18 with bigger tires. You are not going to have much rubber on your rims. But is your car not mine.

They LOOK great but they are not really functional unless you've got perfectly smooth roads.

Is your car a daily driver? I would think that 20x8.5 would be too wide with an H&R drop but I guess it would depend on the offset.

If it's a show car 20" look very good but if you use it as a daily commute
watch out for pot holes because it will bend the rims for sure.

Bigger = Slower

You ever buy a 20 inch tire....WOW lookin at like 200 or more for a Tire and on top of that if you use H&R drop, that Shyeet sags like crazy, I say use some stiffer springs.

And once you drop it you need a camber kit so you dont wear those crazy expensive tires out unevenly

19 would be sweet, and if you ahve the money go with 20's cuz tires be hella expensive, i got 18's and already complaining. anyhow take pix of yourself, and post htem here .. ;)

20's would be game tight:)

Your profile says you like car shows, well with dubs on your Max you will rack up mad points.

My best friend has dubs w/35's on his Caddy.
He stapped his rear axel while pushing the car around some corners.
I don't have much expirience with the Max,
so maybe someone else can post on the strength of the suspension components.

It will be an expensive mod & slow your ride down a bit,
but roll past me and you'll have my undivided attention.

Remember, you can always throw your stock wheels back on when needed.

Ill have to admit it was a good decision asking.....pretty tough question, but I still love 17inch rims cuz they are light and if you get the right ones, you will love your ride 10x more

if you ain't rolling on 20s you are riding around on roller skates !

Always parked huh... Does she drive it? It would look tite but 18" would be better for the car.

20's look tight but they are high maintenence i had chrome OZ 18's on my (now totaled) 93 Toyota Camry LE V-6 and i put out $800 for Nu tires and only after 7-8 months I guess I ran over a pothole and cracked a rim, it was bout $80 to fix but the rim was never the same since it was on the inner lip, so now they R sitting in my garage and im happy with my 17's , so if your up to it go for it & good luck. =)

WATCH OUT I JUST GOT 20'S FOR MY TRUCK AND IF I DONT GET THE RIGHT TIRE SIZE THAT IS CLOSEST TO THE STOCK DIAMETER OF THE STOCK WHEEL/TIRE THEN I HAVE TO GET MY COMPUTER RECAILBRATED ITS A BITCH BC YOU HAVE TO GET IT RECAILBRATED EVERYTIME YOU CHANGE THE WHEELS BACK TO STOCK VICE VERSA

ok here is the thing. 20s on a max will work if the car is not lowered. a buddy of mine let me borrow his for the week while he was out of town and i had to take them off cause it was impossible to turn without rubbing something fierce. btw my ride is eibach dropped (1.3f 1.0r) just so you know 19s will fit and who can really tell a difference between 19s and 20s unless up close. my 2 cents is put 18s on it drop it and they will tuck in the wells nicely. any q? aim me.
