You may have fan motors that have seized or the fan "hubs" have become brittle from time & heat. The area around the bolt that secures the fan to the fan motor usually breaks apart. Jumper the connector going to the fans to the battery to actuate the motors. Listen and VISUALLY check for motor movement. OR if you think that you can do this without breaking the radiator fan relay, you could pry the protective cover off the relay, put the relay back (with cover still off), take a small tool (pocket screwdriver works fine) and manually juice the fan motors. OR#2 - Get a friend to figure it out.

The fans will turn freely by hand and the fans and shroud looks good but will try tomorrow to figure it out.The car is in good shape and runs good the guy got frustrated with it after replacing water-pump and putting new transmission in the car as new hoses ect but dont guess he seen the fans not working.

Thank you for the advice.

I do think I found the problem.

I took one of the fan relays out of the plastic box on the driver sides firewall and took the small protective covering off and put it back in and cranked the engine and took a screw-driver as suggested and jumped across the contactor points and the fans come on and run fine.

I drove the car around awhile and it never ran hot.

When the engine is killed and cranked back up I have to jump across the contactor points to get the fans to come on and they run fine by themselves until the engine is killed so that tells me I will have to replace the $10.00 fan hi relay.

Thanks for the advice.
