Blower Fan

I have a 1997 Metro when I turn on the heater fan it runs for about a minute and shuts off. If I move the switch back and forth it comes back on for another minute or hold the switch hard to the right it will run. I've had the heater controls replaced recently. This does this on all speeds

sounds like a short

Thanks I thought there might be a relay in the system that would cause this problem
