rodeo wont start

recently picked up a 98 rodeo. last night while driving it, the panel lights and stereo suddenly went out. Windows, wipers and such did not work, but the headlights worked not the signal lights tho. i got home and parked it in the garage and turned the car off. i then tried turning it back on and it wont go on. the remote keyless system is down along with the alarm system. i thought it was the battery, so i went and got a brand new battery. popped it in and still nothing. i just cant get it started. nothing running on electricity is working. please if anyone with a clue on what went wrong tell me. i dont want to pay a bunch to tow it to the shop. thanks in advance.

sounds like it could be the ECU relay? Check the fuse box under the hood.
