I have searched for diff posts and sites concerning new spark plugs for my 97 GSX' (Lightly modified). New stock turbo, boost at 15psi, down pipe w/ 3" back, type S bov, etc...
I plan to buy new spark plugs 2nite, and im not sure on which ones to buy. Its between these 2 :
NGK BPR6ES & NGK BPR7ES
I know the (7es) is one range colder, but I heard I might experience more back fire from it. as of now I don't plan on adding too much hp (need more gas money...GRR) so what would u do?
Also, what is the difference between BPR and BP?

BPR7ES, make sure you check the gap. this is probably the most recco'd plug out there, just make sure you change them every 10k or so. never heard of backfire problems from these.

My platinums misfired after 2k miles. From then it has been NGK!!

Call Napa, say you need part number 6953 for NGK. Those are the BKR5E-11 (one range hotter for N/Ts).

i got mine for like 30 bucks total. but i get deals from my mech too. i had some missfire issues and so i hit him up for plugs and these were what he is putting in EVO8's [he said he got over 15 rides on them at the time, no more bpr7es's].
here is the link to the Silverstone's

Do you have the silverstones in there right now?
They seem awesome.. and these are the first plugs I have seen with silver. But I want to know more.

i'll stick with my copper BPR6ES NGK, their cheap and reliable. plus they get used in cars with a shitload more power than mine with no problems, why waste money when their is no need. save it for the strip club.

Last time I went to a strip club was after working on the car all day. It was snowing then. On the ride home we had to stop for some gratuitous AWD donuts on the stutterbox. Dont drink and drive... :p
