Zex Cams

I am very interested in these zex stage 1 cams i have been eyein at the local performence shop for a while now. Does anyone know anything about these cams. I have been doing some reading and they seem to get pretty good reviews. If anyone can offer any helpful input it would be appreciated.

BTW these will be going on a 96 GS-R.

well i read up on them ZEX said there a bit meaner Type R cam set. can use stock vavle springs not reground. They look fine to me I can't say i've heard anyone run them but they look good to me.

care to play lab rat and grab them? They look good and are made by Comp cams so i bet there well made so id say its a safe product to try out.

Looks like i'm gonna go for it, i should have them installed this weekend or early next week depending on when i can get the car in. I'll write a follow up post tell you how it went.

Got the cam in, need to get it tuned. It's a little weak mid range 2.5-5, but pulls like a mothaf*cker on the top end. Top end is almost scary fast between 5.5 and 8.2. Will get a VAFC soon and fix up that midrange
