Hey guys please help me. My clutch is sticking bad when I start off first gear, shift to second, and when I downshift. Like, I will let my foot all the way off the clutch and the car won't take off. It acts as if I haven't disengaged the clutch fully. Please help.

I'll do that soon as I get off work today. Also I was looking on the forums about crank walk and isn't that a sign of the "WALK".

if your clutch sticks to the floor when you are making a left it may be a sign of CW. but it is very rare. check your clutch control rod beneath your dash, attatched to the pedal. if it has fluid on it, it is your master cylinder. i just did my master and slave and my symptoms were that my clutch was unpredictable. it would be at the top on some days, at the bottom on others, stiff like a rock, or soft like 19 yr old ass...

This happened to me the day I drove my car for the first time. I'd been driving it around town fine, until late at night when I was leaving a friend's place. Clutch pedal stuck to the floor. No pedal whatsoever. After pumping and pulling up with my toe, I got enough pedal back to drive home.
In short:
1) Check the clutch control rod like Vince said. This was the problem with mine; it needed a bolt tightened, and the clutch is like new again :D!
2) Check the clutch master cylinder. It is the small cylinder right in front of your driver side mirror under the hood. The big cylinder is your slave cylinder. Check the level of fluid, and add as needed (should be about a quarter inch from the top).
If your clutch master cylinder is low, you may have a problem somewhere where you're losing fluid. Try the clutch rod first though! Let us know how it goes.

Well I took my car to "satan" Riverside Mitsu and they said that my clutch is burnt out??? Granted, they didn't pull it apart or anything. He drove it and I told him about the sticking. Does that sound possible? I just got that damn thing about 4 days ago...... FROM A DEALER!!!!!! Also, when I'm in gear and I push hard on the gas pedal, the car will speed up, then the rpms will shoot up like someone just applied the clutch or like its in neutral. BTW thanks for the help.

First I would goto the dealer and bitch unless they told you that the car had this problem. Then I would check the clutch rod. Then go from there.

Sorry to hijack but since we are on the topic if cluthes let me state my problem. I went out to the track for the first time last night. Everything was going fine up until the after my last run. First my car started idling at 2300 rpms now, yay! lol, I'm about to replace the 2 TB gaskets and the o-rings on the injectors since they are leaking and hopefully that'll fix that problem.
But for the clutch problem, I can let off of the clutch completely but it's like it's still pushed in a little bit, but it's completely out. Why is it doing that? It did that during a couple runs too which ruined my times and is burning up my clutch. While I was trying to get my MBC set whiel I was at WOT the guy riding w/ me was like let off of the clutch, and I was like I'm not touching it. You can hear and feel it. What's the deal w/ this? It's not like everyone elses problem where it's on the floor or something

thats the same thing thats been happening to me. I let off the clutch and it comes up and all, but it's still seems to be engaged. Also my clutch seems to be burning and you can here it and feel it. I took it to satan and to another mechanic and they said that my clutch is gone. So You may have burned out your clutch. But, I don't know though becasue it doesn't seem like it's burnt out but what whould I know, This is my first manual car. ANYWAYZ welcome to the club........ Sucks doesn't it

Well I can get a 2100 now but I don't have the money right now, yesterday was my last day of work due to the business closing down so things will be slwo right now. I got a quote for $350 to install the new clutch. Should I pay it or should I do it myself?
