48 Ford Convertible - Project Black Widow

HI, this is my first post to AF.....
I am currently building this 48 Ford convertible - I will be adding chrome mags and highlighting most of the chrome components on the vehicle.
I thought it would look nice - the contrast between the chrome and the black.
Well Fords DO look good in black anyway - As the famous Henry Ford said - any colour as long as it is black....

If my callsign looks familiar.... I am the husband of HFPE - she is currently finishing off the Eleanor project - its been quite frustrating...Hee Hee

Any Suggestions on the look?........

Neat project. Is that the IMC/Testors '48? If so, you're a brave lady. That kit is both fiddly and rare.

Yes it is the IMC kit - before Testors took over - and it is quite tricky - especially matching up the opening doors - the detail is however quite cool for a 30+ year old kit.

Thanks for all the comments! - I have now thought of a new idea. I will see how it formulates at our model meet tonight....:iceslolan

And I am not a lady - I leave that job to my wife......
