Air bag Removal

Is this at all legal? Ive been told it is and it isnt by different sources. Thing is I have a graft in my left arm from dialysis sooooo its not in my best interest to have an airbag. If my arms are in a diff position and it explodes and it hits my arm Im basically fucked. Also does this change anything with insurance?

exactly... if nobody knows, than who is to say that it is NOT in there... i would hold my own personal well being over any rules or laws anyday...
