Im buying a short shifter off ebay because im not touching my engine, cept a cold intake, until I get my B18 swap, but I looked at pics and what not and it looks like they use bearings off of skateboard wheels, since I used to skate I would know what ones are good, now I know that theres sumthin shitty about those short shifters off ebay cuz they only cost like 15$, but what is it? The bearings, will the shifter snap, or is it juss not that short? And duz anyone konw if those skate bearings would fit? Ive never seen a short shifter in person disconnected before so dont knock on me..

couldnt say but from what i heard many of those knock off shifters break in your hand, resulting in either a shifter lodged through your skin, or an engine not being able to shift until its replaced. you get what you pay for man.

yup i bought one of those ebay short shifter, it came with bearings, liek skate board and roller blade bearings, i tell you this though, i regret buying it. im just waiting for it to snap so i can buy a steel one. i wouldnt recommend aluminum.
but on the other hand, you shouldnt be shifting your tranny that hard between shifts so it shouldnt break at all

As long as it's for a civic it would fit on the Integra shift linkages; if you're swapping to a B-series.
