Well the powerglide is now out. Now all i have to do is shorten the drive shaft put in the floor shifter, buy the torque converter put in the tranny cooler, run the lines, move the crossmember, and buy a tv cable. oh by the way. where should i put the tranny cooler...on the front or the back of the radiator?

i'd mount her right in the middle of the radiator and in front of it. radiators have hot spots towards the sides.

yeah i was thinkin right in the middle..and damone im puttin in a 1988 700r4 with a B&M shift kit. see...im not going to be doing alot of drag. dont get me wrong ill take it to the track but its main purpose is street, thats why im going with the 700r4.

700-R4's are excellant trannys if you build em' up a bit.. And even decent stock!
You should throw a billet servo, or even a corvette servo in there too to tighten up that 1-2 shift..

i swapped out my TH350 for a 700R4 a few weeks ago and i love it. the 700 has a such better first gear ratio. my th350 had a 9 inch tailshaft housing so i didnt have to do any cutting on the drive shaft, she just bolted right in :iceslolan
just wish i could find the speedo thing that bolts in the tailshaft housing so could have my speedo back. i've been guessing my speed when i go down the road and i think it's gonna get me pulled over one of these days
