Cool Cop

Ok just got home, im in my friends 1st gen GST and were driving down a local TPKE and some red civic flys past us and has a nice big spoon decal across the back window. Anyway we end up getting past him and than hit a red light, we pull up next to a 350z with some nice rims on it(looked really clean). Light turns green and we are just driving along doing about 45 than Mr. Civic pulls next to us and we can tell he wants to go and thus he goes. My friend down shifts from third to 2nd and instantly closes the 1/2 car gap and pulls ahead we hit about 55-60 and yup red and blue lights start flashing. The cop didnt pull anyone over just got between both of the cars at a red light and said to both of us SLOW DOWN and that was all. It must have been scary for the guy in the civic i know my friend wasent to happy when he saw those lights. Really cool of the cop to just give both drivers a warning i think.

*OFF TOPIC*But just goes to show not all cops are assholes, infact this cop we knew, his name is Officer Lou and he used to patrol an area were me and my friends would hang out in high school. There was even one night that he came and brought us beer that he had just taken from some kids at a party. The only reason he was so niced to us there was because he knew our football coach and we didnt make a mess or anything just parked in dark parking lots to hang out.

the cop brought you beer? wtf is he a special ed officer? that cop could have lost his job for that. Thats the kind of cop that gives police a bad name. I know you might think its cool and hes so cool, but do you really want the cops breaking the laws they are sworn to uphold? Beer to minor might not seem so horrible, but where does it end? Im only upset cause im going into law enforcement and its cops like that, that give police a bad reputation. Giving two racers a warning is a good cop, not an asshole respects the citizens and gives them a fair chance. A cop bringing beer to high school kids is a fucking idiot.

he also gave us rides in the backseat!! theres a picture of my fat ass friend drinking a beer in the back seat i have to find it online somewhere.

Better yet you get the one cop in your area that's nice. Complements your car, makes small talk and makes it seem as though your out of the ticket. Then when you least expect it he writes up this fat ticket for anything he can think of. :evillol:

We only hit 65, witch was 15 over the speed limit at that point of the road. But in NY they can get you for speeding, illegal speed competition, reckless driving, and whatever else they can find wrong with your car.

dude you are so lucky that that guy only gave you a warnin, i know once i was driven past my limit 9pm in ny and this cop pulles up behind me and i'am doing only like 5mph over the limit. and he flashes his lights and i'am like crap their goes my liscens and he just drives away affter this berreta in front of me and wow that was scary so i don't do that much any more (unless i'am at the races)
