I have a stock 95 ESI, a few months ago i was racing an LS Integra and my alternator belt came off. I got the car home and had it towed to a shop. They couldnt find anything wrong and just replaced the belt (it split in two down the middle) and told me not to drive the car hard for a while. A few days later while i was driving my grand father somewhere it happend again. They told me that i must be red lining the car or it would not happen. I wasnt red lining with my grand father with me. They fixed it again and i took it to another mechanic who is a friend of mine, he tells me that there isnt anything he sees that is wrong. I drive for about 3 weeks and raced it a few times. One night it splits down the middle again after an evening of cruising and the ocassional race (it happend during easy driving). Any ideas on what this might be?
