How do I resize a photo?

I want to upload some photos in my gallery but they are too large. Is there a way to make them into the 80K size limit. Please explain it like I am 2 so I can follow your instructions. Mike.

For example, Photoshop. There are good freewares as well, such as IrfanView, that can do simple tasks like resizing and decreasing the color depth to reduce the file size.

A software which permits you to see pics and modify them.

i use ACDSee 5.0 and i dont know how to resize the pic???
