anyone know?

anyone know if the 97 RS camaros came with a limited slip? i know that there was a 3800 GT option package that came with the auburn diff, but did they all come with it or was it just that particular package. the reason i ask is cause i found one in a local yard and was thinkin about gettin the axle assembly for a disc conversion, but i dont want to do it if it doesnt come with the diff, seems like a wasted effort if it doesnt do something to make my car a little faster...

check your spid label for the code G80, if you got it, its limited slip, if not, its open

pretty sure mine has open (unless its broken lol), not all came with LSD

yeah im gonna check the RPO code, i was just hoping blindly that they all came with the LSD and not just that option package. thanks for the help fellas...
