This will take some telling...

So...I just got home from work about half an hour ago. I figured I'd post-up what's below, while the laughter is still fresh in my mind...http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/naughty.gif

Coming home from work from my company's new (temp) offices, which is a pretty far drive (20 miles, street-driving), it was pretty uneventful, until I was only about 3 miles away from home.

I passed this pretty cute-looking girl in a somewhat riced-out Integra. She was driving pretty sedately, so I didn't think nothing of it. Anyhow, I got to a red-light ahead well ahead of her. It was a three-lane road. Anyhow, as the Integra pulls up to the light, with her to the far-left, and me in the far-right lane, this gold Cavalier that came up pretty fast, pulls in between us.

Picture this: white guy, buzz-cut, seat leaned back, blasting some Master P from his stock-sounding stereo. Yah, I know.

I had a feeling about this guy, as he was sitting there, staring the Integra down, with his stock, 4-dr Cavalier, that seemed to be an auto, by the way I saw him leaning back, with his right wrist on the steering wheel. (G-up YO! http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/grinno.gif) That "feeling" grew stronger, as I noticed him rocking his car back-and-forth at the light, trying to impress Miss 'Teg (I guess?).

So the light turns, and I take-off normal, waiting to see what Eminem was going to do, and sure enough, he didn't disappoint. I heard that "growl" from his motor, and he gets about a half-car ahead of me.

So, while still in 1st gear, and with the Cav' ahead of me by about a car, I mashed the gas, and was next to him, as I shifted to second. I took a glance in his direction, and saw him intently looking ahead, and in almost a slow-motion fashion, he finally glances to his right, and gets bug-eyed, as he sees my poor ol' Sentra pass him. After that, I could only see him in my rear-view. By the time I got halfway through third, I was about an easy 5 cars or so ahead. I could tell he was still trying, as he was fairly far ahead of the traffic from the light.

Here comes the funny part.

I saw him gesture with a curt head nod towards my rear-view, so I slowed-down to see what knucklenuts had to say.

As he gets next to me, I hear him yell:

"Who the fuck you tryin' ta' impress, JACKASS BITCH!" - with this look on his face, like he was about to pop a vein or something. ( :swear: )

I couldn't respond...I was too busy cracking-up my guts at this point.

Oh the irony! For those of you that don't get it, HE was the one that was trying to impress Miss 'Teg in the first place. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/lol.gif By the way, like a smart girl, she decided to ignore Gold-Cav-boy, and drove from the light normal, otherwise, I'm sure he would've been humiliated twice-over. He would've probably popped his head right-off, if that happened.

Anyhow, Cavy-boy gets in the far-right lane, totally miffed-off (how dare, I laugh!). I yell across three lanes "CAN'T TAKE LOSING HUH?" All I heard after that were some incomprehensible profanities, and I had to turn right anyway, so our "conversation" got cut-off, with me still laughing at loud, as I turned.

lol good one, even though i drive a cavy, the 2001 Z24 is such a step up from the rest. The fact that he was in a 4 door stock makes it even funnier. Prolly the 3 speed trans with the 2.2L 115 HP, he didnt stand a chance, i know i used to have one of those, but i didnt race it cause i knew it couldnt take anything. lol good kill.

I get shit like that all the time. Seems mostly with Toyota Starlet GT's. They've got a whopping 1.3 litre turbo FWD. A true shopping trolly. I've had I don't know how many pull up along side me on the motorway at 100khm (62mph) chuck it down a gear, make this horrible screaming noise from their 2 3/4 big bores and go absolutely no where fast.

Usually I do one of three things.

1. Look over at them, point and laugh. That normally winds them up pretty good to the point I get abused like you just did.

2. Pump my hand up and down like I'm masterbating and laugh. Now that will get them pissed off to all high heaven. I've seen one bloke nearly asshole another car because he was too concerned yelling obsentities at me.

3. I chuck it down and disappear up the road, slow down then laugh at them. Again see #1. for the reactions.
