A super would probably be cheaper to install. A turbo would be a pain in the nuts because the engine bay is already so cramped. It can be done but a super would be alot easier and vortech and im sure other people already have kits ready to go.

supercharger would be much cheaper, and with a centerfugial supercharger, the very top end would be higher hp wise. but a turbo, as expencive, and as much of a pain in the ass to route them as they are, provide better overall power, and dont really sacrifice that much top end to the supercharger.

the third gen engine bays aren't all that cramped, i think ur thinking forth gens. and there are turbo camaros, i've seen a twin turbo one that is in the 10's, its a white '00 ss, that had to be a bitch to do though w/ the engine bays on forth gens

dude, dunno bout you, but i was homicidal after installing headers in my third gen, let alone a turbo system. i wouldnt dream of it at this point. supercharge me if anything.

Don't forget about remote mount turbos. There are many benefits to this type of setup. I have been researching turbos alot, because I am considering t/c my 3.8. If you are serious make sure you do alot of research and pick the right setup for your application. Do not just listen to someone and go wasting money. Each type of forced induction has many pros and cons. Consider them all and make your decision.

Eck...3rd gens are still too tight..hard as hell to change the plugs from the top side and not to mention getting enough pressure in your finger tips to snap on the new msd plug wires..that was a pain with all the stupid lines from the exhaust manifolds.

And go with a BLOWER!
More power - Cheap - Lasts long time.
