I have always been a die hard for manual cars, but i recently came across an automatic 3000gt. The price was to good to pass it up. The tranny will need to be changed soon. What components do i need to consider if i want to convert to a manual. How much am i looking at spending?

I've not done it myself but, it can be done. Its just a time cruncher. As far as I know you don't need any special tools. You only have to cut a few things and rill a hole in the firewall for the clutch. Everything else is pretty straight forward, swap transmissions, remove the automatic shift cables and put in the manual ones, put in the bracket that holds the shifter connecters to, then install the lines for the new master and slave cylinder.....
Someone with more experience can probably be more specific.
3si.org has people who've done it. I am not sure if anyone has recently, but heres a link that has a much better description then I had http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=161649&highlight=replace+auto+manual
