I was going to make a pvc CAI but then MANY places have said that pvc will give off toxic fumes and gunk up the engine due to underhood temperatures. :uhoh:
Not sure if it really will, but to be on the safe side I was going to use abs piping but I have been to 3 home depots and 2 Lowes and neither of them carry abs piping
So will pvc mess anything up from the heat?
Thanks

Doubt it, but I would only use ABS anyway. Check your yellow pages for a plumbing/heating store. Our Home Depot has everything you need as well.

not that i do this anymore but just for reference remember back to your crafty stoner days when it was cool to make bongs out of everything? well 1 time we got the great idea to make an 8 footer [ze turmanaitoor] and we did it out of PVC. well call it an 'urban legend' but the commonly accepted 'myth' was not to do that because heated pvc gives off fumes that are bad to breathe... now an intake wouldn't get that hot as UICP's but i dunno... that 8 footer sure fucked us up back then....
