Some of you guys wnated to see some 3/4 designs of mine, here is a bit I threw together a couple minutes back. I don't like the red in the windows, but my selection of markers isn't as huge as others, so that's all I could come up with for now. The intention of this car is very similar to that of the female-oriented Volvo concept from a few months back.
Well, here it is.

The back wheel isn't as straight as the front on. It doesnt look right. Nice concept though!

It's not supposed to be.
The way the two axle lines follow into the vanishing point makes it so their angles seem to be at very different degrees to the ground. This was accentuated by the small dimensions of the drawing, but it is correct in how they should be different.
EDIT: Scratch that, I see what you mean, after further observation, the wheels both look aweful. I was still right about the first bit (axle lines etc).

Yeh, I kinda screwed up on the wheels, it's pretty bad now that I look at it. Thanks for all the support dudes, this is super-morale booster.

that is great. the beetle is a mainstay, an icon. it is very subtle, too. what you did was make an understated, yet more aggressive, beetle. excellent job, man.

Yeah, cool.
Subtle, but keeps the beetle look.
If you design a soft top, don't make it look like a pram like the current soft top! :D

i agree. have you noticed, too, that most german versions of the soft-top look totally stupid? it is like the "pram," ie, baby carriage, is a symptom of a sort of 'afterthought' ethic. they say "oh. we need a convertible, throw this ugly thing on it. ok. done.-- next.."

Lol, that's funny. But i agree. Alot of cars that are made convertable after the coupe is made usually look like a last minute Job...

that is true. i cannot stand the 350Z soft top. looks totalllly dumb. should have come with the 2-roof swap option like the miata.
