is that your first time...... that's really good.... add shading and work on the tires a bit..... other than that your proportions are good and it looks cool

Yea its my first car sketch, and first ive ever posted here. I think i might trace it with darker lines and then start shading. Becuase i erased a bit and its kind of dirty looking.

I wouldnt make the lines darker, because in some of the spots on the edge of the car where there is a reflection, or a light value, you might have a dark line there and it would make the car look less "real" because there would be an outline. You need to use value to show the end of the car...
hope that made sense.

Here is my first attempt to shade a car. I dont really like it, but it was just a trace anyway so i can try again. It was good practice though i think.

not bad.

when you get the hang of textures, ie, glass and metal, your stuff will take off quickly as you already can draw pretty good at this point.

I have been wondering for awhile now, what are those things on the fender covering part of the wheel?

I dont really know. But i saw them on a hatchback in a Magazine and thought it looked cool. it was a sideview picture so i wasnt exactly sure how they would look from the angle i drew this car..

did that make sense? :eek7:
