98 Rodeo Keyless Entry

I am a brand new (about 4 hours now) Rodeo owner. I bought a 98 and it didn't come with a keyless entry remote. How can I find out if this car originally came with a keyless entry system (so i can just buy a remote) or if I would need to install a whole system? Any help is appreciated.
