Door lock problem?

Wondering if anyone here has had this problem and how to fix it.
The prblem is on 1995 BMW M3. When I lock the doors and then unlock them when I lift the door handle to open the door it doesn't open. Sometimes it does it on one door sometimes both. I have to tap on the door where the key hole is and that will work. So I don't know if it's something electrical in the panel or if there is someything loose in there. Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

I really can't help you here but what you can do is check to see if something has came loose in there.
