yeah it sounds like a sweet ride. If you get an aftermarket muffler and keep your stock piping your dumb. When i got my GSX i bought just a Apexi muffler and had the people at promax make me all new 2.5 piping from the cat back. I went with the 2.5 cause the owner of the promax shop recomended it. He was an engine builder for the promax funny car and said that if i went with 3 in. back i would have to little back pressure and i would be losing torque off the line...If he built top fuel engines...i wasnt about to argue with him. i ve had it for a year now and i actually did notice a difference with the new exhaust.

not to knock your mech, but the best exhaust for t turbo is no exhaust at all... 3" is all you are ever going to need, 2.5 is still too restrictive. back pressure is bad on anything it is all about exhaust gas velocity, and only on N/T's in which case he is right, but you got a turbo...

Yes i have 3 inch exhaust from turbo back on mine also, and they even make a 3.5 for it to :).
Asd far as the body goes on the car ricerocket its just minor stuff from a 9 year old car the paint is still great no rust showing anywhere i can see.
And yes i wondered the same thing all the mods with stock piping lol
