rattling and squeekin when not accelerating

hey guys i need some urgent help with this my car is a 85 jetta with a 1.8 if u needed to know well it seems to have a bumpy rattling when its not accelerating and its squeeks as well could this be the brakes touchin the rotor or struts,shocks,springs. n e info will help
