Tail light and clear corners & front strut bar

Hey,

I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on some new tail lights that would look good on an ultra red/burgundy colored 2003 eclipse gs 2.4L. I was thinking of getting chrome tail lights w/rear clear bumper lamps but I dont know.

If anyone has any good combinations that would great on this car, that would be great.

Also, I wanted euro clear front corners but I can't seem to find them along with a upper front strut bar Does anyone know where I can find these parts cuz I cant?

I don't think there are any tail lights unless you shave in some custom ones that look right on these cars. I mean, I make fun of people with altezzas that are chrome they just look so cheesy, but like I said, unless you shave in custom lights they don't look right. Try r33 or r34 skyline lights, can't really go wrong with those. As for corner lights, if you want a custom look you can find clear lights anywhere and have them smoked to make a cool effect. I have clear smoked on my turn signals and ultra bright white bulbs, for all four corners. It looks real nice. Just try shmotorsports.com

The strut towers are best when thicker. neuspeed and skunk2 make great strut towers or bars, but the thicker the mm the better depending on who makes them for the eclipses'.

And don't forget there is a top and bottom strut towere needed in the front and back

cant you just remove the red lining from the original taillights o_O? Or remove it and put in some colored lining or what ever.

I think you need to learn some new terms. The 3G can only have 1 front strut tower bar and one rear strut tower bar. Not one top and one bottom. You may be thinking of sway bars. I suggest upgrading to the Suspension Techniques rear sway bar and leaving the front one alone. By replacing that with a more rigid bar, your turning ability will decrease.

No quality aftermarket front strut tower bars are currently made for the 3G. Actually, the best one is the stock 3 point GT strut tower bar. The rear strut tower bar can be had from

Cause I could really care less about you. Show me proof. Give me pics, links, whatever, just something besides your retarded posts.

Show me pics of an RS with upper and lower strut tower bars. And tell me why I have not seen or heard of them or why I have not heard of gude doing ANYTHING for the 3G community.

01RS, Johnny makes a damn good point! You havent shown us anything about this "gude" crap that you have done to your car. And why the hell would you auto cross with an eclipse? That alone makes me wonder about your knowledge of this car!! Show us more than just talk so that we can actually give you the respect that you really dont deserve!

If you know anything about autocross, and I don't mean the kind of autocross like you see on speedtv I am talking the kind you can go and just for fun enter any car you want, and then get timed and compare your time to other people. I am in Az. So I can only do it when they are here. The one I went to a few weeks ago, there was a Z06, which killed everyone, and then there was a F150 stock, which was laughed off the track. Now the eclipse was making times right up there with SER SPECV's which are over rated. As for pictures of what I have, you are right to assume that I am lying but I don't really care about taking pictures to prove to a bunch of people who don't really know shit about cars in the first place. So don't bother responding to any of the posts that I have put up on this day. My knowledge of cars, not just eclipses, or F.I. is far beyond the capacity of what this forum has. So I bid all of you that think Johnnybgay has a point goodbye, if you really want to know about cars,do what everyone else does, don't ask johnny, do the research yourself. P.S. Everycar does have to have upper, and lower srtut towers and an X frame to limit roll and improve handling.

I have replaced the struts/shocks on my car with the KYB AGX's and installed the RRE rear strut tower bar. NO WHERE did I see a place to install a lower strut tower bar. I think that you are confused, but if you are 100% certain that there is a rear lower strut bar, then you are just an idiot. Some cars are capable of having 2 bars in the rear like the EVO. But those are called trunk bars as they are not attached to the struts. Or maybe you were thinking of tie bars. But in any case, you are worng about there being a upper strut tower bar and lower strut tower bar.

BW, if you really knew F.I. and wanted to show how great your knowledge was, you would not post up about how great your N.A. buildup was and not provide specs of what they did.

I have AutoX'ed my car and love it. I outhandle so many other cars it is great. My friend has a boosted integra and I can outcorner him (at least, until last week, when he finally got his tein's on).

The eclipse has potential. You just have to know how to get it out. Do NOT go all motor, as the 4G64 found in the RS/GS was built for boost and can run at least 14psi all day everyday on the stock motor. Boost it, work over the suspension, add in the strut bars and rear sway bar and your car will handle so amazing that you will not believe it.

i bought a silver eclipse with altezzas and it looks pretty good. i used to laugh at people wit altezzas to and still do but my car looks fine.

There is no upper and lower tower bars. Heed the knowledge given, there is only FRONT/REAR strut tower bars (go on top). What you speak of is 'Swaybars' (go on bottom) as mentioned already.

Now to the subject at hand, johnnyBgood gave some good advice. As for tail lights, I use chrome altezzas on a Black 01 GT Eclipse, however I am thinking of the Carbon Fiber ones. They just have a nice look to them. Here's a pic with a similar color eclipse like yours w/CF tails.
