95 Ranger air conditioning

I have a 1995 Ranger with 123K miles. Only problem, once I fixed the door ajar problem, is that my AC doesn't blow harder on max air than on regular. I get cold air, but I live in south Texas and I need max air. Any ideas?

the only difference between reg & max air is the fresh air door closes in max air so it is recirculated. start with checking if you can see the door close behind the glove box.recirculated will be colder than fresh!!!

might check into vacum bottle on ac system
