Buttons on Cabin Light

I have a '99 Accord. Recently the 2 buttons on my (front) Cabin Light. -right next to the sunglasses holder and rear view mirror- those 2 buttons broke off. Well the piece of the button that keeps it in place, broke off. Both at the same time. So I went to the dealership and parts department and the guy told me that they only sell the whole component.(Cabin light sunglass holder and all) and that shit cost about 300 dollars. Now we all know that I'm not gonna spend 300 bucks just to get 2 plastic buttons that arent' worth a dollar. Any suggestions. Should I check another dealer?

Maybe you'll get lucky at a junkyard. Not many Accords end up in the "pull-it-yourself" variety, but the ones where they break the cars themselves might be able to help you.
