If anyone is interested in buying 'STUNNER' for their ride, it's $1500. Post here and I'll contact you with details of the seller.

lol - that's the cost of a 1G and a City Turbo fornt cut - way too much.

Besides personalised plates don't really say much... other than "wanker" :D

Heh - I just put in a search for black on white plates... JDM 51R :p

I really want a set of "Cujo" plates actually - one of my 1Gs was nicknamed Cujo 'cause you could hear it howling streets away, although some said it was because its bark was worse than its bite :p The project 1G will be "Cujo Mk II"

You know you're not the ONLY one in Sydney with a SIR. My friend used to have a white one with SIR plates, and sold it. I saw it once after that, but it had been slightly rear ended. I was a bit annoyed when I found out he sold it, because it was a car I always admired.

I already have custom plates :silly2:

A 4G SiR or a 5G? SiRs can't be complianced in NSW or any other state - there have never been compliancing plates available. However, there are a few hybrids running around - a silver 4G with twin pipes and a fair few 5Gs. There's also one or two XT25s which look exactly like a SiR externally in the Liverpool area.

Legitimate SiRs are thin on the ground - there's a 2G CRX EF8 in Queensland, my 4G EF9 in NSW, 2 rally only 5G SiRs in South Australia plus the ex-Brett Middleton rally 5G SiR.

There are also a few Civics with SiR rice-engineering badges on them. :p

Its 4G. He bought it off someone else. Does yours have the Japanese Climate Control?? Unless the engine was swapped in by a previous owner.

Its funny. Once my cousins bought a black 4G, which had SIR badging, and hatch spoiler, and foldable electric mirrors, but it had the stock twin carb engine in it.

That'd be an XT25 with the SiR badge on the back instead. Mine has the climate control setup - but its a pain - I want the A/C setup that moppie has - which is different again to the Aussie 4G setup.

Climate control was an option in all JDM spec Civics. I've actually seen it in a '90 GL with the raised XT25 bonnet and SiR bumpers - we got some weird ones at the tail end of the production run

hmmm... there was a place outside of smithfield that was doing bodgy chop and welds of SiR engine mounts and custom mods to put the B16 into a 4G - only way to tell is to see if it had the EF9-numbers VIN stamped on it.

Who knows...the car could have been totalled by now. It was an asian p plater driving the last time I saw it, and that was atleast a year ago.

My sisters former white civic which she sold to her friend, has been doing the runs. Apparently not doing too badly. I think he got it tuned by Rigoli. Its got a sticker on the back window.

lol - are you impling that Asian P-plater's aren't the best drivers. I'd tend to say any P-plater is a crap driver. I saw a p-plate anglo guy a while back punch his(?) WRX up the embankments on the M4 late at night... 15 degree angle I'm guessing... he hit the brakes and it started to slide. I reckon he fell asleep at the wheel. Then it must have clipped something because it rolled over onto its roof. He walked away from it though. I have a feeling mummy and daddy wouldn't have been too impressed :p

OUCH!!
Insurance on a WRX for a P-Plater. Even if he is a second diver - still over 5g's. Mother. I've seen quit e afew in tegs and ludes. Once at Baulko Intersection (you know, the Mean Fiddler one ;) ) I saw an asian p-plater n a Boxster.

No...most P platers drive like morons. Agree with Oz, there are so many P platers driving sports cars these days. Worst...was an L plater driving a SUPRA.

LOL - I L-plated on a 1G Civic and then P-plated on another one and a Holden Statesman. I lost 4 points within 2 weeks of P-plating: 100 km/h with P-plates on :D Damn I was a good little driver until I went onto my blacks :)

I was racing cars on the freeway with my P plates on doing 120

i've actually got a clean plate, but that's only because my mum took the points I got for a red light camera I went through when I was on my Ps. Got off one speeding fine, because they flashed the camera from the other side of the road when I was driving my cousins' Suzuki. Other than that, just parking tickets.

I havent had a parking ticket ever... but a couple of thousand have gone in other fines. I'm on gold ATM and trying to keep it that way, although I got done 12 months ago on the Hume going down to Vic. Hopefully that will clear before the remaining 3 years of my gold is up :)

They are very strict along there. My sister got done twice on that strip on two seperate ocassions down to Melbourne. My dad has been done a few times too. VIC cops  Cops in NSW give you a bit more leeway on the freeway.

Had license 6 months. Breathalized twice, 1 acco (not my fault), Pulle dover by a cop, got off with a warning. (Neg driving, street racing, speeding). And yesterday went rally driving in a Pulsar on the best dirt trail out at Wiseman's ferry.

Wow...you've only had your license for 6 months. I've had mine 6 years :D

You old geezer :silly2: HAHA kidding. I would have taken my P's test on my birthday if I could have, but being a public holiday, I had to wait the weekend. I was soooo disappointed :D
