i was wondering what year and model 240's have lsd?

Easy way to tell if the car has LSD, if you can jack it up:

Spin one of the rear tires by hand, if the other one spins opposite, it is an open dif. If it spins the same way, it is a LSD.

You can find out if the car has LSD if you have the model number.

Here is for the S14 (95-98)

S14: Checking for LSD using Car's Model number

Find the car's identification plate on the firewall, passenger side.

Check digit 18 in the model # (not the VIN!).

For Feb '94 - July '95: A, C, or E, = LSD

F, or "-" = NO LSD

For July '95 - July '96: A, C, or F = LSD

B, D, or "-" = NO LSD

does spinning the real wheels really work? can ne1 clarify that

the only way to be certain is to open your differential and look inside. What car do you have? it is isn't a 91-93 hatchback with super hicas, you don't have lsd. The 95+ was an option and if you have the 95+, try to wheel spinning test. Like he said, jack the rear end up. Spin one tire forward(towards the front) is the other wheel is spinning towards the front(both going in the same direction) then you have vlsd. If it doesn't spin or it spins the other way(the one you are spinning is going forward and the other wheel is spinning towards the rear) you have an open differential. Most likely you don't have vlsd cause people didnt' know what that was and didn't get it as an option.

wait you are the same person with that swapping coupe bumper onto a hatch....so if that is the case, YOU DON'T HAVE VLSD OR ANY LSD UNLESS SOMEONE INSTALLED IT(which i doubt)....YOU DON'T have a 91+ 240 so there is no point in checking....

Nope I don't run 1/4 tiles....don't really care howfast my car can go as long as i can get it sideways. Right now i installed an injen intake, going to get my hotshot headers in and lsd. I been working more on suspension then power like strut bars, rear control arms, tie bars, etc.

What did you pay for the Tien tie rods and traction arms?

136 for the full set and haven't got the traction arms yet. If you mean control arms like 120 i believe.....been working my ass off as a clerk and going to school....40 hours a week and a full time student...it sucks ass.
