Here's a pic of my AMT '72 Nova SS. Body is a Jimmy Flintstone resin piece with a Garage Cast resin Stingray hood. Paint is HOK Tru Blue Pearl. Rims are machined aluminum one offs with MAS resin centers.

Here's a pic of the interior:

Seats are from AMT '57 Ford Fairlane. Custom door panels, C4 Vette console, C5 Vette gauges, Arrowhead Aluminum steering column and MCG PE billet steering wheel. Photoreduced stereo, Pegasus speakers and Detail Master PE speaker grills. MCG PE pedals.

I'll post more pics later now that I have figured this posting thing out!!!

Wowzers! Those are some tight wheels. Your Nova definitely has that "Pro-Touring" look to it!Love the stance. Super detailed interior too, mixing old with new.
What's under the hood?

The car looks soo great, except, there's no sidewalls on those tires. I love this car, and Im thinking of getting the Pro Street 66 Nova. Anything special you had to do to get them rims to fit?

Nope. The front tires are from the Revell Acura Integra and the rears are Hoppin Hydro 20s. That's about the biggest rear tire that will fit on the rear of an unmodified AMT '72 Nova.

Super Nova! Great build. I look forward to seeing it finished. I built a 1:1 once, from the ground up. Took a year to complete. Love this car!

The engine is the SBC that came in the Nova kit. I bashed it with better detailed heads from the AMT '57 Chevy truck street machine, modified headers from the AMT '83 Camaro Z28, NASCAR 18 degree valve covers and EFI from the Revell '59 Corvette.

The engine block was painted with Alclad Dull Aluminum. The intake, valve covers and water pump/timimg cover were shot with Alclad Magnesium. Headers, alternator, pulleys and master cylinder are painted with Alclad Chrome. Bolt heads were also painted with Alclad Chrome.
