dodge neon sport

can anyone tell me if the 98 dodge neon sport cuz wiht only the dohc engine.
im getting a dodge neon in the next month, and i made up my mine that i want a 98 wiht the dohc engine. ive look every where for an answer
and only one page told me that the neon sport comes wiht the 150hp dohc engine. im just not sure if its a reliable souce.

also what is the different between the neon EX and the sport?

BEFORE the 1998 model year a Neon sport came with the DOHC motor, spoiler, nice wheels and all the bells n whistles. After Daimler bought out Chrysler they started getting cheep with their options. I went looking for a 98 when I wrecked my 97 ...and came across a "sport" It was nothing more than a highline with a spoiler and "sport" badging. You will have to look under the hood and make sure the valve cover says DOHC on it. As far as 'EX' badging goes...that labeling is being used on the 2nd generation Neons...2000 and newer.
