First Job!

Ive been job searching for months now, and finally got one! Its at a place called Great American One Stop Auto Care. My Dad knows the boss there, and he hooked me up. Starting at a very good wage, doing pretty easy stuff ie fluid changes, cleaning, etc. I set my own hours and could start whenever (because of my thumb I needed a bit more time).
Im so excited, cause until now I have been financially supported by lawn mowing and oddjobs around the 'hood. So, Im just so excited I had to post. :evillol:

i am happy for you. here is some advice: stick with that job as long as you can. do NOT become like a few people i know and start jumping from job to job.

congrats man. Take kittedb18's advice, if the place is good to you, stay there. you'll get a raise soon enough

Congrats. Glad to see people are actually looking for a job instead of loafing!
I hate working on other peeps cars. That would not be a job for me. My Fave job was pizza delivery. Esp. at night when peeps are drunk and giving bigger tips than normal. :D

Ahh the first job...akways an exciting event until the days become repetitive and the on going wait for your pay. But payday will be another joyous event for you :thumbsup:

No doubt. My first job was a tech at a Dealership. I know I did at least 150 oil changes my first month. Oh yeah, congrats on the job.
