Difference between JDM D16Z6 & USDM D16Z6?

This whole swap thing is really driving me nuts. I pretty much have everything cleared up but now I am being told that theres a big difference between JDM Z6's & USDM's Z6's. I am getting a JDM D16Z6 and I am wanting to use my old USDM A6 stuff, intake main, exhaust, dizzy, ecu, injectors etc..I am going to get a Apexi V-AFC for the vtec.

Will I be able to use all my old D16A6 91 CRX Si Parts on a JDM D16Z6 SOHC Vtec motor? That's all I want to know.

Um i dont believe there was ever a jdm d16z6 made. I believe it was a jdm d15b Sohc VTEC? Arent i right, some fb. please!

yeah i hadnt seen any either. I was thinking about getting the D15b VTEC but nobody ever gave me feedback as to whether i could use d16 VTEC Internal parts.

i think the D15 and D16 are teh same blocks just different heads and maybe internals not sure...but i think so...

okay i know for a fact that the heads are the same and that the difference lies in the crank bearings and pistons the rod lenth are the same and the block is designed different cause the jdm d15b is a 1.5 liter and the d16z6 is a 1.6 .the compression ratio on the d15b is 9;3;1 @ 130 HP STOCK and th3 d16z6 is 9;2;1 WITH ONLY 125 HP STOCK to sum it all up the d15b jdm motors beats the d16z6 by 5 hp when it comes to comparing these two thanks

I wouldn't be surprised if the difference is just in the crank itself, a change in stroke. That I have seen the block bores have been the same, but they change the stroke to change displacement. Same thing old domestic engines did, use the same block and change the stroke.
