folks,
bought my first car and its a 1996 mitsubishi galant..the car looks great and runs great too....it has 105K on it...i noticed that it had a few recalls..and went to the dealer..the dealer fixed them free of cost and gave me a report sorta thing which said
air filter dirty, lube etc etc...engine mount broken and requires attention, belts worn out...drive belts worn out...timing belt might need to be changed..engine tuneup advised.
I am really clueless abt cars..learnt how to drive on the galant..i went to a nearby sears for a oil and filter change upon advice from a classmate..talked to the mechanic and had him inspect the belts and mount...he said they wud last a few thousand miles..and one of the engine mount is kinda broken..
the estimates for the belts(he said 3...dunno if timing is included) and the mount along with labor came upto 300 dollars..is it good enough?
i assume if one engine mount is crappy...that wud effect the others too...i am college student and i cant stand huge repairs.
any advice please!

that car has 3 regular belts and thats probably the ones hes talkin about not the timing belt included but how ever changing those 3 belts for 300 dollars is rediculus youll pay maby 20 bucks for all 3 of those belts and u can change them youself its really easy to do
