there's something about the front wheel...... it looks like it has more or less camber than the rear wheel but other than that i dont see anything

Hey, looks good for a first design. There are a few things wrong, design wise. You should spend more time on the design brief, like who is the buyer, price rance, practicality etc. Another thing, get the book How to Design Cars like a Pro. Sound kinda lame, but this book is simply amazing, the book I've been looking for my entire life for. It's so good for somebody like you, who is trying to get introduced with the basics, what to do/not to do. It's so good. If you're serious about this thing, check out this book, it is just that good.

yes, i will do that. i'm seeing that concepting is more than just throwing out any design. basically, it is industrial design. not my resident area. i believe that book is by tony lewin.

I am by no means an expert at concept design . . . but I do have a question , why does everyone do concepts with a cockpit looking center like a can am car , instead of a full interior sized car ? Besides that cool design , I would like to see this completed .

that is a great point. i dunno. i guess it appeals to the 'future airplane car' sort of expectation. maybe it is the sign of an amateur -like me!

how about this one (sorry for bleed off the page):

The only thing I dont like on the first one is the roof scoop that I could sleep in. Other than that its pretty good, maybe with a smaller roof scoop it would look cool.

the second one kinda looks like and old posche crossed with an aston martin or somethin

the last one is awesome!!! is it going to be an r.v? (great contest idea: concept r.v.) the headlights look like the tail lights off of the old caddys

Because you never see any design professionals' works. All you see is us, the future of designing... Ever wonder why all you see is 19in wheels? Same reason as the radical cockpits. Especially on this site, where you have a lot of uneducated and unexperienced kids who don't know the rights/wrongs of car design. They just have never been told what not to do. The cockpits aren't a big as problematic as the huuuuge wheels...
I've been preaching about the Tony Lewin book forever, simply to help these people learn what to do. Oh yeah, take a look at the website www.cardesignnews.com , spectacular for the same reasons. Top notch people helping you out in the forums. They helped me out infintely. My drawings have exponentially improved thanks to these two sources...
Maybe this post may sound agressive, but it's not. I'm just trying to help, to point people in the right direction. I had similar help, and man did it work. Good luck mate!

"Because you never see any design professionals' works. All you see is us, the future of designing... Ever wonder why all you see is 19in wheels? "

On the contrary, the reason you see so many big wheels in concept renderings is the same reason you see bigger wheels on concept cars...they look better.

I check out the portfolios on that cardesignnews site at least once a week, I would definitely recommend checking tose out too!

large wheels are in fashion now actually. i think wheels have gotten too large these days. people seem to go nuts over "dubs," and i cannot stand those.

but on we go...

i bookmarked that site. very excellent. i will be stealing from and ripping off those guys profusely!

a concept car is just that...a concept....like the caddy that has a v16 or whatever. would you say that was unejukatid? i believe that same car also comes stock with 20 inch rims. the reason us kids draw huge wheels and cockpit cars is because it looks cool. if we were actually designing a car i think that the way we look at our design would be different. i draw concept cars becuase it is fun compared to drawing what someone esle wants a car to look like.

that site is awesome. that will make the list of sites i check every day
