Keyless Entry (99 Accord)

I have a 99' Accord. It did not come with keyless entry when I purchased it. I'm thinking of install one. I heard somebody bought cheap remote on EBay and programm it. I'm wondering if I can do the same thing with my car. Or I have to install something like receiver for the remote. Please advise a good one for me. Thanks

definently have to install something else. Its the same deal as a remote car starter. Surprised it didnt come with keyless entry, should've. Maybe you have the keyless entry device installed but dont have the remote. Go to a Honda dealer and ask. If you do have it installed they will program a remote for you.

Is it possible to check if there was keyless entry device installed without going to the dealer?
